Week 30

Here is the update for this week on Junior:
Your baby is growing rapidly now. This week he weighs about half a pound more than he did last week (about 2 1/2 pounds total) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is getting bigger to accommodate his growing brain — which is busy developing billions of neurons. With this rapid growth, it's no surprise that your baby's nutritional needs reach their peak during this trimester. To keep yourself and your baby well nourished, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamin C, folic acid, iron, and calcium. (Every day, about 200 milligrams of calcium is deposited in your baby's skeleton, which is now hardening.)

Things are still going well as the pregnancy moves along. At times it seems like this has been a multi year process, going extremely slow. Other times it seems like the weeks are flying by...13, 12, 11, 10. All things considered, things seem to be going very well. Of course I am not the one "with child". I think the nesting stage has officially ended for Natasha, she has accomplished some amazing things feats during this stage. The room is pretty much set with changing table, crib, bassinete, and the closet has shelves that are filled with all sorts of baby clothes. Lately she has been very tired and doing lots of resting.

I (we) have successfully narrowed the name search down from a top 25 to a top 5. I think we will leave it at that and see what name fits him best when we see him.
